REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Hood Latch

2 16916 Hood latch release cable
3 16700 Hood latch
4 W505422 Hood latch striker bolts (2 required)
5 16K689 Hood latch striker

Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the 8 pin-type retainers and the upper radiator sight shield.

  1. NOTE: Mark the location of the hood latch to aid installation.

    Remove the 2 hood latch bolts.
  1. Disconnect the hood latch release cable.
  1. Remove the hood latch.
  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
