Selector Lever Knob

Removal

  1. NOTE: The SelectShift ™ switch is part of the selector lever knob. To install a new SelectShift ™ switch, a new selector lever knob must be installed.

    Remove the selector lever. Refer to Selector Lever .
  1. Interior trim remover.

Installation

  1. NOTE: Keep the SelectShift™ switch wire taught while installing the selector lever knob.

    1. Position the SelectShift™ switch wire towards the back right corner of the selector knob shroud.
    1. Route the SelectShift™ switch wire through the selector lever opening.

  1. NOTICE: Tightening the transmission selector lever knob screws over 2 Nm (18 lb-in) may damage the selector lever assembly.

  1. NOTE: Make sure the SelectShift™ switch wire is pulled taught prior to connecting the SelectShift™ switch.

  1. Install the selector lever. Refer to Selector Lever .
