Accelerator Pedal

Removal

NOTE: To prevent setting DTCs, make sure the ignition switch is in the OFF position prior to disconnecting the accelerator pedal electrical connectors.
Disconnect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.

Remove the 3 nuts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.

Installation

Install the 3 nuts and the accelerator pedal and sensor assembly.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Connect the accelerator pedal sensor electrical connector.
- Make sure that the red lock tab on the electrical connector is fully engaged to make sure of a complete connection.
