Configure device:

Find your card with:
$ cat /proc/asound/cards

To get valid ALSA card names, use aplay:

$ aplay -l

and then create /etc/asound.conf with following:

pcm.!default {
    type hw
    card 1
}

ctl.!default {
    type hw
    card 1
}
